About day 2 or 3 I believe. Day 2 probably. They won't accept though. I've got it with lots of little NPCs around the map but none nearby!

Level 4 fortress being built in Toulouse now. Got 6 troops were headed to Toulouse, seem to be moving away (spies say moving towards, military map says away). 1 troop in Nantes with one headed near Limoges and 14 troops in Paris with an unknown fortress level.

Well, I havent got RoW yet with portugal, and I put it from day 0, so you will have a bad time. Yet perhaps those troops head to other way. Who knows. At least, they haven't landed yet.

Zab, If you could send 20 troops toward Reggio, I will have 5 and an armored car, which will be more than enough to counterattack. In the meantime send the rest of your troops to Rome, to help abort the Moroccan invasion.

I don't care who, but does anyone have 15-20 troops to spare? I need help either defending the UK, because Sweden's taunting means I have to be paying attention no less than every 5 hours, or else he could wipe me out if he lands, but the fact that his 48 troops at sea, and his last 17 are embarking too means that someone could wreak utter chaos if they landed on Sweden...Stockholm anyone? That, or pretty please help me block the Swedish landing attempts, I simply don't have enough troops to spread around.
TL;DR- 17 troops to protect me would be awesome, troops to attack sweden would be equally cool.

I would love to help, but beyond (maybe) taking Paris I wouldn't expect much from me. Why? Because Russia has a massive army in Riga. If I move anything more significant than a few troops I have a Russian horde pouncing on Berlin before you know it. The is one upside Alex, Swedish troops morale is going to be shit by the time they managed to land. Look at it, they're just making stupid maneuvers. Frankly in a day or two you won't need to worry about leaving more than a handful of troops in Britain (25 maybe) spread through your cities.

I can send some oil though. And maybe I can pull something off once the French situation is taken care of since that will free up a fair number of troops.

Zab, please tell me you can punish the Ottomans now... we'll never get a better chance.

EDIT: Running really low on oil. Got 1453 with -22/h. Anybody care to share? Got a fair bit of food (breakeven there, got it from the stock market) or materials (positive on those) to trade.

Grim, now that I think about it, you can build fortresses in your frontier with Russia, so that you don't need to hold all the troops there.

*Edit* I got tired of waiting, so as soon as I have my artillery (18hs), I will attack Serbia to be able to strike the Ottoman. I hate to do it, but we can't wait any longer... He is defenseless now.

Zab I'm really pissed right now so I'll try not to sound like a prick, but what exactly do you expect me to build forts with? I'm low on Iron (they have spies that killed my first fort) and now my spies get caught while theirs are invincible? Sweet. Plus I'm low on money. Plus Poland won't give me RoW so I don't know where you want me to go. Here's about the only positive things. First, I'm killing France. Second one of my spies was finally successful. Here's Russia:

Troops still coming, just wait a couple of days before I send them. I have to trick Morocco and shore attack them, that way only the troops coming into Portugal will bother me.

Well, my theory was discarted. I thought that if 2 persons attacked the same city, allied, the one attacking the city would win. Henceforth, I attacked the troops. Well, let's hope it rebels and gets back to the rightful owner. I am now attacking Serbia with the artillery. Fuck the RoW

I was going to attack Sweden amphibiously but I realized that this is futile. They still have some troops in reserves and (worse) they have artillery. So I will move on to Russia. I really, really, really want more artillery or a RoW through Poland. If I can just start cracking Russia open I think our luck will start to change.

Fuck. Morocco landed while I was asleep. I was worried something like this would happen. Artillery built in 14 hours. Let's just see what happens from here.

Don't fret too much. Abandon Santiago. He'll get there before you and attacking piecemeal will be your doom. He will lose some morale and you will have numbers so while it won't be as effective as shoring him you will win a significant victory.

Grim, if you could hustle your troops down from Paris, I think we might have a shot at finally finishing off the French.

I think you need to move your troops from Paris to Brest asap and block the Swedish stack there, that could be a very painful counter-attack on us if he lands 47 units on our European flank. Hopefully you see this soon. As soon as I have arty available I can lend a hand in Russia to backdoor Sweden. Especially since if we can get to Sweden by land he will be completely defenseless.

Crisis averted. Unfortunately I still do not have RoW through Poland and Morocco will force me to keep troops in Brest... or not. He's moving against. Probably going to land @ France so maybe I will attack there.

If any of you have spare spies (or money) please put them on economic sabotage in Nancy. I need that damns province back or else I risk getting cut off from Paris. NPC can and will break RoWs.

Two last things: I think I know why the AI break the RoW, and an idea I got from the single player tornament.
The first, it might be because we don't declare the war, and we attack anyway. That really decreases the "popularity" among the other nations. Once, because of that, they even put me in trade embargo.
Lastly, I think that in every game we should have several airplanes. Seriously, they are awesome, and they destroyed me in the single player tournament. They can cause mayor mayhem, specially against artillery.

Oh I know, good call beating me to the punch since I was *just* about to bring up the airplanes now that factories are coming in. Much better investment than railguns in a short game, especially when we're strapped for oil. It also will allow us to strike from further away with effect. (Once had a plane destroy 70 fortified units overnight :-p)

I have 1900 iron, gaining 50 per hour, and I need to throw up some fortresses to consolidate gains in France, and start building more than 1 artillery. I can trade food or energy.

Finally caught that smaller unit of Swedish troops (he made a whoops, you can attack sea units that are on the shore but not landing, by placing your troops right on the edge of it, fyi) I'll have troops free to come to France soon, and I'm sending 30 to attack Sweden proper so *fingers crossed*

Yes, but the clever bastard is landing 48 troops in France.... watch out zeek, they're gunning for you (almost exclusively) right now. We NEED to finish France RIGHT NOW. Like in the real war my forces are winning great victories on the eastern front, but the west feels like a ticking time bomb. I will start to divert resources over to the western front, but the loss of Nancy is going to make that impractical.

P.S. Good idea on the airplanes. I already have one aerodrome, will keep on working on more for the western front but I see little point for them on the vast Russian steppes.

P.P.S. Zeek/ntcp please tell me you both will have arty in the next 24 hours... At least 2 would be nice. Otherwise we're in deep shit.
