Grim, I will need reinforcements from you... Soon, they will attack, and without artillery, I am doomed. Nevertheless, save some troops to defend in case anyone attacks you. I think that perhaps we should start having a defensive position.

If we take a defensive position we've lost. With the defeat of Germany it will be impossible to outpace their alliance score without expansion. I can probably spare some troops, once I have more. But right now I need every unit on defense. As it is I'm stripped of scouts and even 1 defender on my coastline.

I fought and I killed, but they just kept coming. Our maritime disadvantage was a huge handicap, but I hope we've learned a lesson at least.

Perhaps Morocco (ntcp) and I should head for Spain. After all the German war, it might be a good surprise for them. Let me know what you guys think.

I'm seriously considering taking Finland. I know it is isn't much of a possibility, but it is better than having to track through all of Russia or risking more amphibious operations...

I think we should be defensive for now. They will be eager and attack, for example, me. I am in bad shape to resist a single attack, two would be disastrous. The same for Sweden. I think England should help Sweden a little bit, and Sweden, even one artillery would make me the life in the north.

When the inminent threat cease, and we have more troops, we can see what AI attack with the artillery.

I have no idea. It's going to kill me seeing you die a slow death, but with those A-H armies flooding in it would only result in my defeat to send a significant force. My curse is that while I have plenty of special units I just don't have enough infantry to do jack shit. That fighting Germany was brutal... I killed so many enemies but to what advantage?

They will attack sweden by the north, not by the sea... Try to build up your fortresses so that we may resist longer.

Requesting Permission to attack Iceland. I need a province to stop my oil production being negative. Troops are moving but say the word and I'll bring them home. Only got 12 hours oil left by the way so a trade for a booster (until I capture Reykjavik). Then I'll be in the positive and add harbours/railways and become a supplier.

Morocco should have plenty of oil. And grim will be attacked soon, and his lack of fortresses will make his defense quite hard. I propose you exchange a territory from grim and put part of your army there. Anyway, I was checking the rules of the tournament, and we are probably out of the next round.

How do you figure that? Next round is only round 3 (still the group phase) so I feel 97.5% confident that 4 points will be enough to advance us to the next round. I'll bet a large sum of money that there is not enough alliances who won all 3 games to make up the 3rd round. With 6 rounds they probably only eliminate a few alliance each round. (Not /that/ many are playing in the first place).

Depending on the number of participating teams, some of the teams in second place may also advance to the next round.

Well, that would be our only chance. I doubt our enemy alliance in this game would loose any game to have 4 points as we do.
